An Introduction to IABS3
The Institute, which was created under a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a research-focused think tank that operates at the nexus of requirements for:
- the enhanced incorporation of biometric capabilities into common technologies
- deeper understanding of complex, multidimensional social behavioral challenges
- the capacity for providing that capability and understanding that is spread across a diverse body of research entities – academia, government, private industry, and other organizations
The Institute will use its dual research focus in both biometrics and social system studies to meet a variety of sponsor requirements critical to the security of the nation.
