Welcome to IABS3

IABS3 coordinates specialized assets from our research partners and focuses their efforts on examining the influence of a wide range of human factors on homeland defense, national security, and other challenges of national significance.

An Introduction to IABS3

The Institute, which was created under a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is a research-focused think tank that operates at the nexus of requirements for:

  • the enhanced incorporation of biometric capabilities into common technologies
  • deeper understanding of complex, multidimensional social behavioral challenges
  • the capacity for providing that capability and understanding that is spread across a diverse body of research entities – academia, government, private industry, and other organizations

The Institute will use its dual research focus in both biometrics and social system studies to meet a variety of sponsor requirements critical to the security of the nation.
